Congratulations on your Botox and dermal filler treatment! Aftercare is essential to ensure optimal results and minimize potential side effects. Please follow these instructions carefully:

General aftercare Instructions

Please note that individual experiences may vary, and these guidelines serve as a general overview of the typical progression after Botox & Dermal Filler treatments. Always follow the specific aftercare instructions your healthcare professional provides for the best results and to ensure proper healing and recovery.

BOTOX specific INSTRUCTIONS

  • Onset of Weakening Effect

    The weakening effect of Botox starts gradually between 3-7 days and is not complete until two weeks post-treatment.

  • Optimal Results and Adjustments

    Optimal results are typically seen at least two weeks post-treatment. Adjustments can be made at the two-week follow-up appointment.

  • Duration of Botox

    Botox results last approximately 2-3 months initially. Consistent treatment appointments may extend the duration beyond four months.

DERMAL FILLER specific INSTRUCTIONS

  • Post-Filler Effects

    Expect possible bruising, redness, or swelling after filler injection. These effects will diminish over time, with the full filler effect visible after two weeks.

  • Filler Duration

    Immediate results, with the full effect visible after two weeks. Dermal filler results generally last 6-12 months.

  • REDUCE CHANCE OF INFECTION

    Wash your hands immediately post-procedure. Avoid touching the infected area, and do not apply makeup for approximately 6 hours unless it is mineral-based.

  • Side effects include dry eyes, drooping eyelids, or a heavy brow.

  • Any other significant side effects.

  • Feel distressed or worried in any way.

Routine adjustments can be made from day 14 after your procedure.
