BOTOX & FILLER aftercare Instructions
Congratulations on your Botox and dermal filler treatment! Aftercare is essential to ensure optimal results and minimize potential side effects. Please follow these instructions carefully:
General aftercare Instructions
-
Exercise Treated Muscles
Aftercare: Practice facial expressions (frowning, raising eyebrows, squinting) for the first hour after treatment.
Forgetting to do so won't negatively impact results.
-
Avoid Strenuous Activities
Aftercare: Avoid lying down or strenuous exercise for three hours after treatment.
-
Avoid Heat Exposure
Aftercare: Steer clear of saunas, hot tubs, or tanning for four hours after treatment to prevent increased blood pressure and minimize the risk of bruising.
-
Avoid Touching Injected Areas
Aftercare: Resist touching and refrain from applying makeup on the areas where injections were administered for at least 6 hours after the procedure. This minimizes the risk of introducing bacteria and ensures optimal healing.
-
Avoid Facial Manipulation
Aftercare: Refrain from having a facial or massaging the treated area for 24 hours after the treatment.
Please note that individual experiences may vary, and these guidelines serve as a general overview of the typical progression after Botox & Dermal Filler treatments. Always follow the specific aftercare instructions your healthcare professional provides for the best results and to ensure proper healing and recovery.
