-
CryoProbe Cryotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses Nitrous Oxide (N2O) to precisely and safely freeze and eliminate benign skin lesions. The CryoProbe device is a handheld, pen-like tool that comes with four tips of varying sizes (5-8mm, 3-5mm, 2-4mm, 1-3mm) made of the highest quality surgical-grade polymer.
-
High-pressure N2O is released from the device at 725 PSI, creating a freezing jet that targets only the lesion. The gas temperature drops to -89°C, causing the cells within the lesion to rupture and be destroyed. The body then eliminates the frozen lesion and replaces it with healthy skin.
-
CryoProbe Cryotherapy can treat a variety of benign skin lesions, including age spots, skin tags, molluscum, angioma, milia, moles, fibroma, pigmented spots, seborrheic keratosis, common warts, plantar warts, and sebaceous hyperplasia. The selection of the tip depends on the size, thickness, and location of the lesion.
-
The treatment involves minimal pain and does not require anesthesia. Most patients experience a brief sensation of cold during the procedure, making it a comfortable and tolerable experience.
-
Each treatment session is quick, usually taking less than 1 minute per lesion. Patients can be in and out of the clinic in less than 10 minutes, making it a convenient option for busy schedules.
-
Most lesions are eliminated after a single treatment. However, some stubborn or deep lesions, such as plantar warts, might require 1-3 sessions. There is no downtime with CryoProbe Cryotherapy, and patients can resume their daily activities immediately after the treatment. The precise application ensures minimal risk of infection, scarring, or complications.
